Group Savings and Loans (GSL)

These groups bring together survivors of Gender Based Violence for mutual social and financial support. Traditionally, many women were forced to remain silent on their experiences with Gender Based Violence. In the Savings & Loans program, members have a safe space to tell their stories and come up with solutions together. Scarcity of money is the number one cause of stress and violence in the home, and the TLM Group Savings & Loans program builds financial literacy and creates opportunities to save and borrow money as needed.
